The robotic creation of Dr. Boynton, made in the image of his deceased son and imbued with 7 special powers with which he can use to protect himself and others. With a sense of justice unlike any other, Astro Boy will always do what he thinks is right and save the day from any evil that may lurk around any corner.

Astro Boy has an amazing 100,000 horsepower strength built into his small, sturdy body. If that fails him, Astro Boy has seven special powers up his sleeve! 

• With his jet and rocket boots, he can fly as high and as far as his energy supply will let him. 

• He has the ability to shoot lasers from his fingertips.

• He is able to shoot from machine guns which extend outward from his rear. 

• He can use his eyes as searchlights.

• His hearing is capable of being 1,000 times that of a regular human's.

• He can decipher most any language. 

• Finally, he has an innate ability to tell if someone is good or bad with just a look.

Packadermus J. Elefun was appointed new head at the Ministry of Science as a result of Dr. Boynton's resignation and following mental breakdown. His leadership and care for Astro Boy and all robots will lead to a future where robots and humans get along.

Astro Girl is the sister of Astro Boy. She's an energetic tomboy who gets herself into trouble quite a lot. She can be quite a rascal, but Astro Boy cares a lot for her, and Astro Girl cares a lot for her brother in return. Whenever she finds herself in trouble, her first thought is almost always "My big brother Astro Boy will save me."

Astro Girl was built with an amazing 100,000 horsepower strength. Though, following a particular incident, it was halved to 50,000. It's not as much strength as her older brothers, but she's still not someone you would want to get on the bad side of.

Jetto is a prototype model for Astro Boy built by Dr. Tenma. During a scheduled cleanup in the Ministry of Science he is accidentally dumped in the trash, where he happens to reactivate. Once he and Astro Boy reunited, they became brothers. 

He's not quite as sharp as his little brother, but he's got a good heart, and always comes through in a pinch.

Like his brother, Jetto was built with 100,000 horsepower strength. However, he lacks Astro Boy's seven special powers.

Titan is a robot baby created by Dr. Ochanomizu and adopted by Astro Girl as her baby brother. He was introduced in Japanese episode 165 as a character exclusive to the television show, and since he was introduced so late, he is a character who never made his way onto U.S. television screens.

Titan is quite a rambunctious little squirt, and you'd do best to keep your eyes on him lest he wander off and cause trouble. And under no circumstance do you want this baby to start crying; entire buildings will tremble just from the noise!

Titan was built with 10,000 horsepower strength, which, while far less than that of his older siblings, is nothing to scoff at.

Victor Percival Pompous is a private investigator famous for his skills in judo. He may seem scary, but beneath this old man's tough exterior lies a heart of gold that beats for justice.
